PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN YOGA MAT, WATER BOTTLE AND DRESS IN COMFORTABLE ATTIRE. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE THESE THINGS PLEASE SHOP AT FITS4YOGA TO BE PREPARED FOR YOUR CLASS.
Yoga Workshop - Learn & Flow (Sunday)
- This class is targeted towards beginners. The nature of the class will be on the
fundamentals of yoga as breathing and alignment is the main focus. Learn the names of the poses, get familiar with common yoga sequences, and gain confidence as you increase your abilities.
Vinyasa Flow - Strength & Flexibility (Saturday)
- This class is targeted towards beginners to intermediate skill levels. The overall
postures and flows are influenced by the Ashtanga Lineage as well as Javamukti
aspects. Each attendee will gain a new appreciation for sun salutations in this early
morning flow. Building strength and flexibility will encourage a more consistent
practice and promote regular attendance.
Peak Pose - Balance & Align (Monday)
- This class is targeted towards intermediate skill levels. As each attendee begins a
more consistent practice, more challenging balance poses will be integrated into the flow. Faster paced sequencing and hands-on assists will contribute to the overall advancement of each individuals practice.
Yin Yoga - Restore & Renew (Wednesday)
- This class is targeted towards all skill levels. In Yin Yoga, postures are held longer
and the class is generally slower paced. Meditation and breathing is an important
element and will be the main focus. Yin is great for people who sit or stand for long
periods of time, as each pose is restorative.
